Can be spot from far away. There are a lot of people at dusk time. Everyone comes to the beach, and so many activities are available for visitors.
Not my favorite place to be. There’re so many aggressive monkeys even you open the car them can jump in straight away and stealing everything in yours car. Be careful
One of the temples on top of the mountain. Spend about an hour or so to enjoy the view. You need to climb up about 150 steps to the top.
You can bring food to feed money. However, do not feed them by yourself. Mention to someone at the temple that you have food or want to feed monkeys. They will help you out. If you can brave or okay with at least 30 aggressive monkeys running toward you, feel free to feed them by yourself.
If you just want to see, give your food to the local and he will feed them for you. I have a picture of at least 30 monkeys came over and fought over a bunch of banana.
Before or after the way to the temple, check out the small fisherman village. The seafood are fresh. They can cook for you. The price is very reasonable. Again, be careful of monkeys stealing food off your hands.
I liked the temple itself, but I think people need to know that there are so many monkeys. I was scared and didn't like the smell of the area.
I saw the monkeys attack people and steal food twice. The monkeys seemed to know foods. Everyone should hide food and be careful.
Khao Takiap ( Khao means mountain, Takiap means chopsticks) is a mountain located 5 kilometers away from Amphoe Huahin to the south direction and further your journey at the intersection by taking the route number 235 ( follow the sign around 600 meters ). Because of the high area ,it provides the beautiful view that you can look around. On the top of mountain, there is “ Wat Khao Takiap” and the stair will pave the way for reaching Chedi. Around this area visitors must take care of your belongings because there are huge clusters of monkeys.
We visited with family, good place for view point from top. Could have give 5 stars however due to cleanliness I deducted 1 star.
Very close to Hua Hin Beach and no entry fees. You can visit to see sunset. They have free parking.
Beautiful location to look out over the city. The temple is small, but well-kept. There is no dual-price here, so we were happy to leave a donation to help care for the animals. We had no issues with the nearby monkeys, so it seems they are doing okay.
I will go back next time. It's very relaxing
